The Diesel-Sense emissions tester offers a light-weight (only 15 pounds) and portable method to conduct emissions inspections on heavy-duty diesel vehicles. One person can easily and accurately measure the opacity of smoke emitted from the vehicle by placing a probe inside the exhaust stack or tail pipe. The hand-held display with the LCD screen provides step-by-step instructions.

The RPM sensor measures the engine RPM to ensure the correct test procedures are being followed. The RPM sensor includes a 12-volt, non-contact, battery/cigarette lighter adapter measurement system.
ESP's Diesel-Sense is certified and approved for New York's Heavy-Duty Diesel Program and meets the latest SAE J1667 specifications.
